Seaward Kaikoura’s

It was hard to catch this view from my regular posi UTSIF (Under The Seat In Front)
But there were some additional delights as our plane had to do a big loop around the Golden Bay Area to get a clear runway and The Boss had never encountered that before. Welli is a lot warmer than Wanaka and he had shirt sleeves on for lunch but as we got up in Wanaka at 3.30 AM (AM stands for Awful Morning) just in case it snowed on the Crown Range as predicted overnight (It didn’t) He has been flagging a tad and at one time there sounded like there was was illegal forestry going on but I think the local trees are pretty safe. Then I got officially transferred to his local back pak and we went of staggering and met the cutest long haired Chihuahua on Oriental Parade.

Scary......
