Meeting Day

Every September 16th John and I celebrate our Meeting Day Anniversary. Since the weather turned better and better as the day wore on, we decided to go to Marks on the Channel, a floating restaurant on the Multnomah Channel, and eat on the deck there. Good choice - it was very enjoyable.
We remember our meeting so well on a Stockholm street, him on a motorcycle, me on foot. He stopped to let me cross, then asked if I spoke English. I'm glad for answering "Yes, a little".
