Market produce
One might ask why we always return to the same place in Provence. Well the answer is that we like to settle in and make it our home. We don't feel the need to go out exploring/ sightseeing every day - we've seen it all and we have such a wonderful outlook here, why would we go further afield. We have a few adventures, but mostly we stay here.
We shop in the local markets and shops and then have days just around here. Gordon spends a lot of time in and by the pool; I seek the shade and read. The house is open plan with a kitchen area that faces the huge windows, so meals just seem to happen with no problem at all.
At this time of year the markets are full of tomatoes, aubergines, courgettes and peppers, so I prepare ratatouille (blip) and then eventually Gordon appears and cooks some steak. Local wine, bread and cheese - what could be better.
