Garden Centre

Some excitement in the morning as we got back from the supermarket. The burglar alarm was going off in the neighbouring bungalow. I happened to meet a couple of carabinieri who had arrived to check what was happening. It turned out the owners had set off the alarm themselves.

Then the air ambulance arrived nearby. I read later there had been an accident at a warehouse close by. The injured person was taken to hospital by the helicopter but should be fine. The air ambulance is used a lot here due to the difficult roads.

In the afternoon we walked down to the garden centre to buy a plant. As usual we had a long chat with the lady who runs the garden, and came back with the plant and some chilli peppers she gave us. I had one with dinner. She said it was fairly mild, I would have to be quite cautious with a chilli she said was hot!
