Up in the Tower
Another wet and rather dreary day today, but I went out after lunch to have a thinking visit to McCaig's Tower - it's barely five minutes away.
Having written a draft proposal yesterday looking at the way the 'garden' is managed at present and suggesting ways that, in my opinion, it could be improved, I thought I should have another look. The shrubs in my Blip today have to be continually clipped to keep them back from the path, so why, I ask, have they been planted so close to it? But even shrubs growing in beds in the middle of the grass areas are pruned into balls when they don't need pruning at all? It's a mystery.
I shall finish my proposal and send it off to Bid4Oban and see what comes of it.
