Whangarei Falls

This morning we visited Waitangi, where the treaty between the Maori and the Pakeha (white New Zealanders) was signed, effectively the birthplace of New Zealand (but not of Aotearoa). Really interesting tour which culminated in a Maori cultural show.

We have since driven south of Auckland, but stopped here at Whangarei Falls on the way. I love the way it looks like the vegetation is falling as welll as the water in this pic.
