The eyes have it
Today we went to Epidauros to see the theatre and the rest of the site. For those who don't know it, Epidauros has perfect acoustics so that wherever you are in the seating, even the quietest sound on the stage can be heard. And the whole thing is magnificent. We had an early start to beat the crowds; when we arrived there was only one other coach in the carpark so we virtually had the place to ourselves, and had moved on to the rest of the site (which the vast majority of tours completely miss out) before the hordes arrived.
We then headed into Napflion for lunch before a free afternoon in town for a bit of shopping and R&R. A good wander round and a couple of things purchased before we went for a beer at one of the harbour side cafes.
I am loving everything we are seeing on this tour but I'm sure everyone else is heartily sick of seeing yet another Greek ruin so my picture today is of some graffiti in an alley in Napflion. However, I've added an extra of the theatre at Epidauros for those who can take more Greek history, and another extra of a rather attractive silver Lamborghini.
