Red sky in the morning

I nipped out to get this shot this morning as the forecast was not looking great for the rest of the day. As the old saying goes ‘red sky in the morning shepherds warning ‘ .We were lucky, it was windy and wet but nothing out of the oridinary really. I did wake up at around 1.45 am as the wind had picked up during the night and seeing as it was still blowing a Hoolie at 2 I got up to fill a couple of flasks with hot water just incase the power went off.
My dining room is almost back in order. David and myself made pizza for dinner with a variety of toppings.
Had a ‘chat’ with IsleMum, she’s had a tough few days, being away from Hubby does not help especially when Storm Helene is in your path.
