More Plum, Less Custard

The enigmatically misnamed Purple Room saw its first Purple today.

We're doing the frieze above the picture rail in the mid-dark purple (or Plum Custard according to Dulux - somehow appropriate given the incumbent yellow).  Got the sample sections painted today before going off and buying a larger bucket of it.

And a bigger bucket of something light, inoffensive, and dramatically less yellow for the walls.
