Phoebe

Feeling less than enthusiastic, but needing a blip for today, I grabbed my camera and opened the door. At that very moment a bird flew into the maple tree right out front. I managed to get it sort of in focus and saw that it was A) a phoebe, and B) it had caught itself an insect. Seeing orange I was afraid it might turn out to be a monarch - which would have been dreadful! But it wasn't. It looks like a moth, maybe a tiger moth of some kind. I took four shots of it and in the ones with a better different look at the moth it's clearer that it isn't a monarch butterfly. Phew.
