Greater Knapweed (FF21_2018)

The chalky south is rather better for wild flowers than our local area in Warwickshire appears to be.  Gill and I had a wander about in Magdelen Hill nature reserve this afternoon and came across a variety - although the wind didn't make photographing any of them easy.   

Tagged for Flower Friday and I've guessed the tag for wild flower week in case it is still running. 

The weekend weather is not looking good for our trip to the South so tomorrow will be a walk around the sights of Winchester.
