Harrowing day

We went on the subway - getting good at this! - to Ground Zero today and queued to go into the exhibition....what a harrowing story to be reminded of.  So much grief, so much bravery and so much unnecessary death. Horrifying.  The new transportation hub by Santiago Calatrava was amazing. Loved that.
Then we walked to Brooklyn for a stroll on the iconic Bridge. 
Then back to the subway and off to Grand Central again.....
Home after a late lunch for a rest before we headed off to Top of the Rock -  67 floors up - to view the sunset which never happened as it was overcast. Still wonderful views and we watched the lights coming on over the city.
Another fabulous day and over 18K steps - phew.
