A silver lining

Felt quite tired but managed to drag myself and Mike out of bed and head for the Puffin Pool , Anne’s in New York So was not able to go today.
Mike had just driven away when we found out that the heating had not worked during the night so the Pool was not the right temperature so no pool today. So I started walking to Tesco, had left my glasses in the car ( I’m short sighted ) , no phone as I had left it in the bag I took last night and no coat, mmmm.One of my Puffin Pool friends saw me so stopped and dropped me at Tesco.Mike was just going in so we went shopping together.Picked up several big bags of rice ready to make juggling balls at Brownies next week.
On to the garden centre where we enjoyed breakfast.I fancied a walk at Loch Kinellan but the carpark was being resurfaced so no where to park so we ended up at Rogie Falls where we had a great Autumn walk through golden trees down to the roaring waterfalls.I spotted two salmon trying to get through and up the fast flowing water. It was so loud, a real roar.Lots of fungi on the way back up the hill.
We had a quick drive to Loch achilty. I enjoyed a wander taking photos while Mike stayed in the car.
