Dawn at Munlochy Bay. The slacker that I am, this was the first time I've been up and out early enough to catch it in a long while. Back home before 8:00 am.
What had been a pleasant wee saunter, was soured by the unseen presence of others. Whilst packing up to head back, a single loud pop was followed by a Pink-footed Goose falling straight out of the sky. The wildfowling season is underway, and for the next months, Sundays may be the safest option for other visits to the bay.
Bigger (zoomable) version.

Have just read the sad news that Tim, aka SarumStroller, has died. Such a talented photographer.
Rest in peace Tim.
