The three sisters

The Blue Mountains just West of Sydney. I took a 2 hour train journey out to the mountains on the most beautiful day so far in Sydney. It was 28 degrees C and a crystal clear day. The mountains have a blue haze which settles over the surface and on really clear days like today, it becomes more intense as the sun rises in the sky. The blue occurs as a result of sun light refracting through the dust particles in the air and the eucalyptus oil which is being produced by the trees. The smell as you walk through the fern gullies is amazing. I certainly have clear sinus' this evening!
