Post-holiday sunshine

A gloriously sunny day in North Northumberland, and warm in the sun.

After I'd hung out the first load of post-holiday washing, MrM and I set off for Alnwick to meet Jimmy, a musician friend. While he and MrM played a few tunes on their fiddles, I had a mooch around the stalls at the Alnwick Food Festival. Resisted the chocolate and cakes, but bought a couple of bottles of red 'Wyne on the Tyne' - wine bottled in County Durham by a company with a carbon negative rating. Then back to Jimmy's for lunch, after which MrM and I left to rush around the supermarket before it closed.

Stopped for a few shots of the Cheviot on the way home.
