Against the Odds

Didn't expect there to be any berries on the Hollies at the back of the house, as I had given them a severe hacking pruning earlier this year. Hence I was surprised to see a good number glinting in the unforecast sunshine! I doubt the birds will have left any come the season of the "C word".
Another day of picking and processing fruit from the orchard, rounded of by a roast chicken diner.
