Had checked the house dairy, fold-yard and orchard for damage after the winds, but had not checked the beck banks despite Mrs A S saying there was a limb of a willow over the footpath above our beck crossing point.
This morning while in the orchard (again ) I noticed a section of the far bank elevated some 3 ft in the air! Think this explains the footpath blockage. More reducing of Plumbs for storage, then painted the bathroom ceiling, needs a second coat which means a late night for me as I have to wait 6 hrs and the the shower can not be used for 24 hrs ! Didn't see that on the tin when purchasing!
