Today, Otley hosted its inaugural Town Criers' Competition.

It was great fun and the costumes were magnificent. Everyone enjoyed the occasion thoroughly.

The first prize went to the Lady Town Crier of Barnoldswick and it was well deserved.

The young man from Otley Town Council who planned and executed the programme for the day did an outstanding job and I congratulate him.

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!
