Full Circle

I first met this lady on this spot 33 years and two days ago when we were registering as undergraduates at the University of Leeds. We have been best friends ever since.

Today, she brought her 18-year-old son to our alma mater so that he might decide to study here.

I feel aged and grown cold.

It would be wonderful if he were to follow in his mother's footsteps; however, he must follow his own path.

Anyway, it was lovely to see my friend again where we first met all those years ago. It is comforting to know that one really can make friends for life.
