Carlisle.

Clickychick had a number of things she needed from Carlisle so mid afternoon we made a dash up their.  First stop was to reunite her with her silver bracelet.  A 21st present to her Mum from her Gran so a lot of sentiment there.

Having collected that and had a chat with Mike (the jeweller) we dashed round various other shops. Not having taken any shots I took a few quick shots as we crossed what was once the main road.  In the centre of the shot is the market cross dating back to 1352 and restored in 2009.

Behind that is the old town hall.  This now houses the tourist information office.  Quite appropriate I think for a building with parts dating back to the 17th c
