That wasn't there before...
It turned out, once the 38ft canal cruiser had moved on this morning, that there had been a nice view across the canal. I liked the array of textures in the roofs.
Dusty and I waited in the van whilst Nell and Mr L dashed along the canal to watch the cruiser go through the lock.
Tonight we are close to the canal again although we have no view. We are in Dijon, on a campsite that sits close to Lac Kir, the canal and the river Ouche. There are many walks and cycle tracks available but all require dogs to be leashed and Nell is less than impressed. Unfortunately we have two nights here so plenty more arm tugging to be done yet.
