Gluttons!

Or simply filling the larder! These wasps are eating the rotten part of a bad apple! They were really concentrating on the task as I had the lens practically touching them! The little bits they had cut out are just below the apple. Every now and then one would leave with a huge bundle of the stuff! Fascinating watching them at work!
