Under the bower

The weather here today is just to die for as they say. I'm trying to keep doing walks even though Salem really isn't interested in the longer ones we are used to doing. So I walked down to the lake and back home (about 3 miles). While I was there, I sat on a bench under this bountiful, lavish bower of leaves, as they change from green to yellow. I was just struck by the sheer generosity of leaves and shade.
