Almost A day Off

Enjoyed a game of golf around the Hexham course. The company was good (thank you Graeme), the course was in good condition for the time of year and was good value, the weather was ok, my golf on the other hand was crap not very good.

Later in the afternoon I did a taxi run for a group of men from Hexham Races back to Halwhistle and although drink had obviously been taken they were all very polite and well behaved. It's the first time in my life that I have done a job where you can be given a tip so the words "get yourself a pint" and the £10 note pressed into my hand was a pleasant suprise.
