Afternoon tea with music
My friend friend Sarah Hill, musician and artist, popped in to see me this afternoon. It’s always a pleasure to see her and to listen to her playing my piano – as it should be played.
However, it’s not music or art that is the main topic of conversation but knees. Sarah has had two knee replacements and some of her experiences of Accident and Emergency echo mine.
We agree there is a recurring fault in the NHS-:
It’s not more money that is needed so much as better communication and organisational skills, a need for joined up decision-making between all the departments dealing with health and welfare.
