The Thatched Cottage

This thatched cottage is hidden up an alleyway between two buildings which line part of the High Street the village.  I'd walked past it numerous times and never noticed it, until someone pointed it out to me.  Now I can't help but peek up the dark alley into the bright courtyard beyond!  I am intrigued as to how the cottage came to be where it is, tucked away behind the other newer Victorian cottages on the High Street.

Another perfect autumn day, sunny and warm.  I barely managed to get outside today - work was busy.  However I did make it to my first yoga class since returning from holiday.  It was very relaxed, perhaps a bit too so for me this evening - I felt like I needed a good work out!
