Downtown

Son Simon dropped us near the White House this morning which allowed us to wander around that area of the city.  We went into the African American Museum - a beautiful building before heading towards  the Capitol. We'd been to the Washington Memorial, hoping to go to the top to get a view of the whole city - but it is closed for repair until 2019!  Then we wandered back towards the city, where we came across a lovely fountain and then saw an albino squirrel - which we watched for some time before we caught a bus home - what an adventurous day!
