Georgetown

We spent a lot of time packing up and moving boxes this morning whilst it was damp. Then around lunchtime we wandered down to M street, one of the main shopping areas of Georgetown.  Had a lovely wander, ending up on the riverside with its lovely walkway, flowers, sculpture and even found a butterfly. We had a delicious pizza lunch before wandering home.
In the afternoon when the grands came back from school we enjoyed some 'creative time' and finished a jigsaw we'd started two days ago. A lovely day - but horrendously humid after the rain.
