Did you know that a third of our food wouldn't exhist without bees to pollinate the crops? and that without bees, if you went into McDonalds, the only thing you could order would be a slice of bread?
I had no idea the humble bumble was so important in our lives until this evening...
But the bees are in trouble, and nobody knows why, they are up and leaving their hives and everyone is rather worried incase they disappear altogether.
Apparently we need to try and be more bee friendly.. grow wildflowers, stop using pesticides and provide them with shelter in our gardens. This will help in the meantime, while all the scientists research their arses off to try and find out whats upsetting them.
So buzz off blippers and start bee-ing more considerate for our sweet little insect friends!
