Earthcache achievements

Coming from a family of geographers and geologists, and being one of very few people with an O Grade in Geology, I have found my interest rekindled by earthcaching.

Earthcaching involves finding geological features from their GPS coordinates and answering a set of questions to help you learn about the geology. There aren't that many in southern Scotland, so I was totally delighted to make it to fifty finds and a Quartz Discovery Award. I've also made it to the top level of the Earthcache Masters Programme, where I've had to set up at least three earthcaches and find twenty in four different countries or states.

I'd ordered a celebratory geocoin and travel bug tag, and they came through today :-) Now to work towards the Mica award of 100....
