One intrepid Red ......

....... Admiral came to visit!

Despite the cool breeze .... there is still some lovely warmth in the sunshine!

I was really pleased to see this Red Admiral making the most of the remaining flowers on the buddleia ....... also grateful that it posed so beautifully for me! :-)

I got 2 very different views ...... I couldn't really decide which I liked best .... so I've added the other as an Extra .... which do you prefer?

Then later a Small Tortoiseshell came to visit again too ..... loving still seeing butterflies this late in the year :-)
