Folkestone Harbour arm
A few years ago I took a photo of the Harbour railway station in Folkestone and wrote a little about its history and the part it played in World War I. Today I was there again and walked along what was the trackbed through the station - the change is incredible; see the extras. The weather was whipping up the highest tide for a while and waves were crashing across the harbour arm but I made it to Pick Up Pintxos for some very lovely tapas. Pintxos are stick-food; they are usually served with a cocktail stick holding them together, and there were non-stick tapas too.
