CRICKET CLUB A.G.M.

(I know they're grasshoppers, not crickets, but it didn't make for such a good title.) I've found a gathering place for them despite their heavy camouflage, and also saw a late blue butterfly flitting about (extra).

Now back to clearing out the understairs cupboard which I've been putting off for such a long time. All in all, it's going to take most of the weekend - or longer - because I shall end up clearing out the dining room and most of the kitchen cupboards too, and make numerous trips to charity shops and the recycling centre. I'll feel so much better when it's done, and I'll have lots more space to store my Brexit baked beans, dried egg and candles! (I've already unearthed a bottle of champagne, a never-unpacked raised garden bed frame and uncountable carrier bags, and I may break through to Narnia sometime this evening.)
