Lodger

It’s that time of the year when all the outside creatures try to take up lodgings in our house with the mistaken impression that, come winter, it will be warmer inside than out. This female at least had the sense to stay outdoors.

Day of many parts: work, of course, plus painting a big wall, wrecking a sofa, and introducing the kids to Northern Exposure (the show, not the blipper). And in between all that some mostly-expected news that will take some processing.

CarbBoy, off school yesterday but ill-advisedly back in today, is poorly.
