In the pink

Here's Bomble, curled up in my dressing gown in the sun. That was before I stood on his paw. Sorry, Bomble, but if you will sneak up behind me while I'm cooking...

Lazy day at home. Got a few jobs done, and two loads of washing. My gazebo arrived (I had one for my stalls, I lent it someone and it got broken. This is the replacement). CleanSteve and I took it to Minchinhampton Common to try and out up, because our garden's not flat enough. Unfortunately it was windy up there, but we managed to try out the wind bars, which act as a base for the steel frame. They work! It also has side panels, but the weather did not permit us to try them out. They'd have been snatched out of our hands and blown clean away! It was a relief to get home out of the wind.

Apart from all of the above, today I have mainly been thinking of recipes involving apples! We've been given a bag of eaters and a bag of cookers. Norwegian apple cake, anyone?
