Spoilt for choice!

A friend of mine is a qualified Chocolatier and makes home made Belgian chocolates, which are absolutely fantastic! She trained and qualified here in Belgium and currently makes chocolates to order.

Tonight she did a chocolate demonstration and tasting for the ladies social group that I run, and a few of us went round to the house of one of our ladies, each armed with a bottle of wine. It was a fun night and very informative as Irene explained how chocolate was made and also demonstrated what she does.

Everyone was able to get involved, and there was a lovely selection of chocolates to try. Of course we ate too much, we really were spoilt for choice!

This photo just about sums up the evening as the plate of chocolates is being passed around. I like the concentration in their faces as they decide what to eat. A chocolate and wine evening - what a perfect combination!

Although we didn't realise when we planned the evening, it coincided really well with the Brussels chocolate week and yesterday's blip.
