The eyes have it
That was all I could see and even then it was just little glints through the foliage and branches. A first for me to see fantail chicks and a parent bird was in and out feeding them, see extra.
The eyes are sharp enough and some feathers and I am happy I got these few.
There were 3 of us peering in at them.They didn't seem too worried.
We also saw cygnets, an eel, ducks, pukeko and many signs of spring including pukekos mating. It's all go.
