Held in his hands

We took a boat across the lake to find a spot for our picnic 'breakfast'. Then went for a little walk where we found this sculpture. Got the boat back up to where we had picnicked to find the cafe that was 'round the corner'. Hand coffee there. Got the boat again, taking a route round the whole lake before getting back to our starting point. Then wandered into Keswick for a 'mooch'. Found a nice little cafe for lunch.
We are all so tired we'd quite happily just have sat there and not moved!
We headed back to the campsite for a bit and just relaxed. Later we took another wander down the road to the village.
After dinner we scoffed a LOT of toasted marshmallows and s'mores by our fire and enjoyed watching the electrical storm on the hills near by.......until the first huge PLOP hit our heads!!! It was bed time then anyway! Marianne and I had just been struggling to leave the glowing embers on a 'comfy' warm evening. The rods of rain got us moving quickly! :D
