A charity haircut

When I was in M&S in Oswestry this morning, a lady was having her head shaved in aid of McMillan Cancer Support. Apparently she works at the store and had recently had a cancer scare so wanted to raise money for the charity.

Unfortunately the sun streaming in made most of the photos unusable  but I managed a before and after shot (after is the extra). It was a very brave thing to do but she was happy and jolly throughout and the new haircut suited her.  I hope that she raised lots of money - plenty of shoppers were putting coins in the collection bucket.

This afternoon I was going to do some ironing but F phoned to see if I fancied a walk. I'm easily persuaded and we had a great walk along the canal in the sunshine.
