Wetherlam

Perhaps that should be Weatherlam. We stayed an extra night as the forecast was good and walked around the Fairfield horseshow with Mr P before heading home. We parked at the Ambleside cricket club and then went clockwise round the horseshoe. It was bright and quite warm low down but became progressively more cloudy and windy as we got up the hills. There was a little rain but this was mostly further west. The main blip is of crepuscular rays near the end of the walk in front of Wetherlam in the Coniston Hills with rain behind. The extras are Windermere from near the top pf Fairfield and the cricket ground as the sun caught it after a brief shower.
