A quarter of sherbet lemons please....
......and a song to go with it.
We are in Warwick for the weekend, meeting our friends Catherine and Graham who live in Crosby. We split the difference and get together a couple of times a year somewhere in the middle of the Country.
The plan was to visit the castle this afternoon, but we reviewed that once we were in the ticket queue; it’s £27 per person which we thought was a bit steep for a couple of hours. Wandered around the town instead, there was a lovely local market on and the weather was perfect.
We were drawn into this shop, not because of a sweet tooth, but because we could hear live music - it certainly worked, we came away with a quarter of sherbet lemons and a handful of Blackjacks and Fruit Salads, taking us back to our youth.
The castle from the distance in extras.
