Baby Dolphin in the Woods

After yesterday's efforts in the garden, I didn't want to roam too far today, so took a trip to the nearby country park near Lightwater for a coffee (in the visitor's centre which has never been open on previous visits - so maybe fairly new) and a walk round the heathland and woods.

I was really looking for fungi, but found none until I spotted a fallen birch tree trunk with a colony of bracket fungi, including this one which reminded me of a baby dolpin. Another one was like the SS Enterprise from Star Trek (extra).  Both fitting entries for Admirer's Silly Saturday Challenge methinks.
