Minnie

“Minnie is looking a bit sorry for herself” was Mum’s announcement today. Minnie is a 1 inch model Steam Traction Engine built by my late Father, and despite having pride of place on a windowsill in her bedroom, was indeed looking rather dusty and unloved. So my task this afternoon was to clean up the brass, remove the dust and give her moving parts a good oiling. I also moved her to the windowsill in the lounge, with another of Dad’s models, a 1:48th scale Dolls house, being moved to the bedroom.
