Today I cleared some space for the aubergine plants. While doing that I found an orchid I'd forgotten about... Poor thing! I got a tip from a friend and cleared the roots from soil and bark, and put the orchid in a clear vase filled with water. This could save it. Fingers crossed. 
I also had to move my Buddha and now it has company with my Japanese samurai lion on a shelf above my bed. 
And then the aubergine plants came inside. Some of the flowers looked a bit frost bitten, so I hope the rest (the larger flowers) will develop and thrive inside.
