Early Morning Mooring
"...... Actually, madam, we are not moored, not technically that is.
Mooring refers to vessels not seagulls - we are vessels in the sense that we fill up with anything we can scavenge but, in the true sense of the word, we are NOT vessels therefore the sign you see before you does not relate in any part to us... so please take your silly blipthing and leave us to our early morning contemplations...... "
A flock of seagulls
A squabble of seagulls
A colony of seagulls
A scavenging of seagulls
A screech of seagulls
A pack of seagulls ......... and, on a lighter note ...
A shitsquirt of seagulls
Down to the port again this morning for a (hopefully) blippable sunrise (this is a river port not a pretty seaside harbour-type port) - the sun did rise (as always) but impressive was definitely not the word for it - I resorted to cranes (industrial, not avian), leaves, tugboats, tenders, some more puddle art (see yesterday) and some seagulls.
Got home and this was the best of the bunch - so you get to see it too.
A very Happy Thanksgiving to all my blipbuddies and everyone across the Atlantic and also to those of you who are celebrating Thanksgiving somewhere else in the world.
Spare a thought too, please, for all the American servicemen and women and their families apart at this time. We wish you all a safe return.
