A story of two halves

What do a fire extinguisher and a sprout stalk have to do with one another? Only that they met today at the back of Abergavenny Oxfam shop. I had been at the Farmers' Market (see olib's blip here) and bought the sprouts. Then I went to work in Oxfam for the afternoon. It was a convenient spot to park the sprout stalk.

Later the threatened rain poured down and started coming through the Oxfam kitchen ceiling - fortunately it didn't cause a fire so we didn't need to use the extinguisher.
