Flame Tree

The weather here yesterday was so dire that I had no inclination to find anything to blip, but today was a different story.  Sunny, but a bit chilly, which is fine as long as you are dressed for it:-)

I wanted to take a shot of this lovely tree in our front garden before all the leaves drop off.  Not sure what it is (an acer?), but you can spot it from the bottom of the road!

What a pity it was our day for Mah Jong at U3A, as it seemed wrong to be indoors in the sunshine, but we enjoyed our games and I actually won two of them (TJ only won one this week!).  Glad some of the rules are sticking in my head now!
