Playfair Library

We had old friends staying for the weekend as our geology class was having a reunion to commemorate the 40th anniversary of graduating from Edinburgh University. They live in the Isle of Wight now so we don’t see them that frequently, but we still get on well. As it was doors open day we went into town and amongst other places went to see the Playfair library in the Old College and that’s where the blip is taken, What I didn’t know was that at the end of the library is a connection to the Talbot Rice gallery and we ended up in there afterwards.
