Why not red?

Inside blip this evening, of a rose I have in a vase.
Can someone tell me why this dark red rose insists on being pink when I take a photo in artificial light?


I tried with both cameras, on different settings, and still couldn't get the right colour.

A terrible wet and very windy day, but fortunately not as bad as in other parts of the country. I hope the rest of you haven't been flooded out.

It has been a day of doing boring things, like washing, ironing, cleaning etc.

However the wood burner makes the room so nice and cosy on an awful night like this.
